Campground Rules

 

   Use of Kentucky River Campground Facilities is for Campers & Their Guests        

 

Fire Pits & Grills:

Please ensure all fire pits & grills are at least 10 feet from the campers surrounding you. Be courteous to your neighbors so we can all have a safe and enjoyable summer. We do not have fire pits at all the sites so if you have a portable one...please bring it along if you can.

Building fires on the grass or gravel is not permitted.

 

Propane:

We have a propane filling station. Please use caution around the Propane cage and fill station by not smoking or driving your vehicle to fast up to them.

 

Pets:

Pets are certainly welcomed at KRC!

All pets are required to be on a leash and not left unattended.

Please clean up after your pet

Animals are allowed in the office while under the watchful eye of the their owners.

 

Quiet Hours:

shhhh---you'll need your rest for all the fun tomorrow 11 pm-7 am


For your safety and theirs:

Children under the age of 16 must have adult supervision.

No riding of bikes, scooters, or skateboards after dark.

 

Reservation:

A Credit Card is required for the reservation of a Tent or RV site

 

Campers who have campsites reserved and do not show, will be charged 1 nights fee.

 

Visitors:

Visitors are welcomed at KRC

All visitors must sign in at the office upon arrival

All visitors must leave the campground by 11 pm. (midnight on holiday weekends)

 

Parking:

There is a parking limit of 2 vehicles per site. (*In most areas)

For your additional and visitor vehicles, additional space is provided, ask manager for location.

****Entrance and exit roads are limited to 1 vehicle per camper.****

 

Motorized Cycles:

Please limit the use of motorized cycles or scooters for entry and exit of park only.

Golf carts are permitted but you must be 16 to drive and they must be driven slowly.

 

Boat Launch:

The boat launch on the campground is a private launch. If campers have a boat they can launch at the State public launch & parking that is approximately one mile from the campground.

Kayaks and canoes can be launched from our rock bar but no vehicles are permitted on the rock bar.

 

Swimming in the river:

Swim at Your Own Risk; NO Lifeguard is on Duty and there are life jackets for your use if you ask at the office.

Children MUST have adult supervision at all times while swimming in the river.

 

Garbage/trash:

Please take all trash to the dumpster in the boat yard.

Do not put your everyday trash in the garbage cans located in or around the public buildings

 

Laundromat:

Washers and Dryers are available for your use in our Laundry Room on the side of the office building.

Do not overload the machines with heavy blankets or sleeping bags

Do not wash your pets bedding in the washer

Do not leave clothes unattended

Please clean washers and dryers after use

Please do not use personal washers located in your camper.

 

Alcohol:

Any drinking must be done in moderation.

All alcoholic beverages must be in huggies/cozies

Absolutely no alcoholic beverages permitted for those under 21 years of age.

PLEASE DRINK RESPONSIBLY!

 

Children are present all around the campground. Please try to set a good example for them with your actions and words.

 

TV:

The use of antennas or personal satellite receivers is encouraged. We have a digital cable system but there are no guarantees that it will work.

 

WIFI:    

WIFI is available for you to purchase directly with Bluegrass Fiber .

 

Firearms:

Weapons of any kind are not allowed on the campground.

With the exception of hunting firearms. Hunters may transport a firearm from their camper to their vehicle or boat.

Any other display of firearms will result in immediate expulsion from the campground.


Behavior:

Anyone who creates a disturbance, becomes a nuisance or fails to follow rules will result in immediate eviction from the campground.
